Root Any Jellybean ROMs with working MMS?

I've been playing with [LINARO][Rom][11/21/12][JB 4.1.2]ParanoidAndroid 2.99 Official Source Built and it's extremely nice but ofcourse MMS doesn't work for Virgin Mobile.

It wouldn't be a problem if MMS wasn't a big part of my messaging, I send and receive pictures as well as other MMS related content.

I know g60 is working on getting MMS fully functional but it would be nice if there was a Jellybean ROM with working MMS already; Im doubtful, but hopeful.

The way development goes(because of its open source nature), once one dev figures it out and incorporates it into their ROM, all the ROMs will have it.

Do Sense 4 ROMs have working MMS? I'm wondering if a JellyBean Sense (that's what, Sense 4.2?) ROM would work. And actually be smooth...

Viper3D Sense 4.1 has working MMS, you just have to replace the apns.xml in framework.res from the Stock ROM.

This is a nice rom. Great battery life. But I found out when I alter the framework file with the apns settings, my phone will bootloop.

Yeah, you can't do the adb push with this...you need to reflash the whole ROM. Unless I can make it a flashable zip...

*idea*

Give me about 10 minutes, and I'll see what I can cook up

Edit. Nevermind. It does reboot. :<

Yeah, I gave after two tries at putting your framework.resand build.prop files in to the rom itself then installing it. Seems like any modification to the framework.res bootloops the rom.

Thanks for trying though.

Its weird though, the Viper3D rom I'm using doesn't bootloop. Don't get me wrong, I get a reboot here and there...but that's about it.

For it not to bootloop on Viper, you have to do a full factory wipe (data/cache/dalvik-cache), and don't use the build.prop edits- not needed.

You might need to use 7zip on your computer, don't extract anything just over write the framework.apk:D
