Help Any Metropcs N5 users out there?

Yeah. I've been using the service for while now and can't complain (on the $60 plan). I ordered my sim online and had to call metro for them to put my number on the sim card. The imei number will not work if you try to do it yourself (don't quote me on that maybe they've updated their database by now).

Looking to bring a n5 to metropcs. Anyone else done this yet?

Hi KutuluKid,
Yes I use my N5 on metropcs. Once the N5 is registered on the metropcs network and the metropcs SIM card is inserted, the N5 will automatically configure the network/APN settings and will work perfectly fine... I get great LTE where I'm at, H+ at worst usually.
Since the N5 is GSM and CDMA capable and SIM unlocked it will work on just about any carrier... Except for Verizon. Who said they wouldn't register an N5 on their network.
The N5 takes a Micro-SIM card, which metropcs does carry for like $10 - $15
So at most you may have to get a new SIM card.... depending on the the style SIM card your current metro device uses.

Yes I have the Nexus 5 on Metro PCS and so does my brother. No complaints here at all. Speeds are fast, good call quality, reception etc. I am on the $50 plan.

Yes, went from the SG3 to the Nexus 5, no issues at all. Went to the store, they dropped in a sim card and was good to go. Took only a few minutes. Going from CDMA to GSM was night and day better.

One more quick question. Had a N4 on metro, can I use the Sim card from that device on a N5 or is it different?

YEP!!! Bought the N5 online, went to my town's main Metro store, had them activate it.........and it's been a great ride so far!! No compatibility issues with Metro at all. Phone is great; NO BLOATWARE!!! Good phone signals, good data up/down.......go for it!!!!! OR..........wait until Oct/Nov for the N6...........

I ordered my nexus 5 today I use MetroPCS LG L70 can I use that Sim for my nexus? Put it in and go?
That's not a sim card if its from a CDMA phone, that chip is used to connect to their LTE frequencies. So to use that card on a gsm phone seems pretty pointless.

Im not entirely sure what type it is man I'll probably have to bring it in to them for a Sim
