Any tips on what I should do?

Newbie
So, I bought a BLU Studio G from a MetroPCS store in Manhattan last Wednesday [8/5]. I used it for less than one day, and I simply didn't like it. I put everything in the box and went back the next day [Thursday 8/6] to return the phone, and a lady [regular worker] said that she cannot give a full refund, and was completely NO HELP at all. I asked to speak to the manager and she said that the manager had already left and would be back the 8th. [The actual only piece of helpful advice she gave all day.]

So I went the day after [8/8 Saturday] and the store was closed. Early than the closing time too. I wasn't worried much, as I just thought it was regular maintenance or something.

And completely out of irony, today, Sunday 8/9, the store was closed again, but it had "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" in bold letters, but there was no note or smaller sign indicating when they would be back.

tl;dr: I basically, I have 2 days to return this phone, and I can't return it because the store is clsoed. What should I do?

You could wait until it opens again and explain how you couldn't return it before the deadline because they were closed for several days. May or may not work.

There are a few MetroPCS's nearby, but their policy states that to be eligible for a free refund, you must return it from the store you bought it from.
The problem here is each store is different, and they go by similar policies. However a Blu phone is not a metro phone, as a matter of fact I don't think they're even supposed to sell them as they're not metro phones. You could try and see if there's a corporate store (owned by metro) near you and possibly explain the situation. Not sure how much help it'd be, but it's definitely worth a try.
Hope this helps,
Anthony.

As Anthony said above, Metro doesn't officially sell that phone as it's a free-market unlocked phone and not a Metro-branded one. So no way is that a corporate store, in fact a quick check on the Metro website shows there are no corporate stores in Manhattan. Any return policy on that phone would be at the discretion of the store and not the official Metro return guidelines. Unfortunately you have the added complication of the store closing and apparently changing hands. So you may be SOL, if the store does not reopen in the next day or two you can try contacting the NYC Better Business Bureau. IF you have the return policy in writing they might be able to help you, although if the previous owners are in the wind it might not do any good.

Authorized Dealer =/=? Corporate Store?

The store I bought it from: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.824...D4VbGHtPkNUrwTKGTA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1

Kinda getting worried..

No, an authorized dealer is not the same as a corporate store. An authorized dealer is owned by someone else, and just has the authorization by metro to sell metro phones ;however a corporate store is owned by metro and can help more in certain situations, because they're metro owned. I hope that clarifies that part.

Not exactly the same.
A lot can be theorized, but,if this were a corporate store, instead of a licensee, you would have never seen the BLU phone in the store.
YMWV on what you can do.
With all the time you'd spend chasing down these guys, you'd prolly be better off just selling the phone for as much as you can.
Try SWAPPA:

And guys, thanks for all the help. Didn't think a lot of people would post.

Too bad Metro doesn't have official forums like T-Mobile, the community and staff seem really helpful there. But you guys are helpful too.

That's one of the trade-off downsides with MVNOs.
Customer service exists, but,it's gonna take a lot more effort & patience to get results/answers.

Authorized dealer and corporate stores are two different things completely. I have been to a few Authorized dealers here in Florida and every one of them sold phones for Metro that weren't officially sold in the corporate stores. The are independent dealers and can pretty much do what they want.
My suggestion is like most others. Wait till that store opens. Go there with the receipt and any other proof you have of when it was bought. Pretty sure whoever took over as manager knows the store was closed when you tried to return it.
