Hey everyone:
Is there any way to calibrate the touchscreen on a Nexus 7 2012???
My son dropped ours and I replaced the screen / digitizer together as well as got a new bevel for it.
Unfortunately, the touchscreen is a little bit off. The touch point is between a 1/16th and 1/8th of an inch too high (if you hold the table in portrait mode, with the camera lens at the top).
I am pretty sure all the cables are plugged correctly. When I first put it back together, I had a deadspot that was about half an inch wide, along with the calibration being off. I opened it up again and reseated the cables and the dead spot is fixed, but the calibration is still off).
Certainly hope there is some way to calibrate it. I mean, my old Palm Pilots all allowed you to calibrate the touch screen.
(It seems like there are ways to calibrate for HTC phones, but not for the Nexus.)
Thanks in advance.
