Anyone (else) considering going to the Note 3?

I have been a fan of the Note 2 for quite some time but went with the Maxx HD instead because I just wasn't sure about the size. I've had my RMHD for just over a year and it's been a very good phone, just shy of greatness. Now that the Note 3 is coming out I'm seriously thinking of going either this or the Note 2. The prices on the Note 2s are dropping like stones and they are a 'known quantity' as opposed to the Note 3. Just wondering if anyone else out there is considering jumping the Moto ship?

The RMHD set the bar on battery life and the Note 2 and 3 come close with batteries almost as big but both have significantly more RAM and other good features like an easily replaceable battery to name just one.

Just wondering if anyone else is considering this move?

I get my upgrade in late January and I'm heavily considering the note 3. I figured by then the bugs will be worked out and the price maybe dropping a bit.... I like the new droids and the x but not enough to stay with moto unless there are some new better phones coming down the line

I want to switch to the Note 3 but I am in a marginal signal area at home and other Samsungs have been unusable inside my house where with Moto I still get low signal but the phone is usable. Unless they've improved their radios I'll have to stick with what I have.

Well, I did it! Rocking the Note 3 now and it's great. The size is not as bad a you think it is, I didn't even notice it right away. Reception is as good as RMHD, and battery is better, but probably because RMHD was a year old. Speed is incredible, no lag on anything, screen is beautiful. I loved my RMHD. I love this more. If you are considering the move, do it!

How's the build quality?

I thought the pleather back would be awesome in theory and comparable to kevlar, but I have yet to touch a Note 3.

Build quality is very good, although faux leather is nowhere near as nice as the RMHD Kevlar back. There a couple issues with loose home button and call quality on some. But I am blown away by this phone. I love it.
