I heard that as well. Apparently the charge was watching a monitor while driving.
Illegal to drive while wearing Glass in UK as well.

In the UK, the DoT might be using existing laws that prohibits watching TV while driving. Which goes back to the 1960s.
Thing is, I think it depends what you're doing with Glass while at the wheel. If it's showing something relevant to driving, like navigation instructions or traffic information. Personally I think that might be OK, and probably not any worse than having a GPS satnav in the dashboard or fixed to the windscreen. But on the other hand if you're watching a movie, fair enough, you should deserve everything you get, that's as bad as watching TV while driving IMO. Of course the cops don't know what you're actually wearing Glass for, so they'll probably book you anyway.
There's the ticket, and it actually says "Google Glass".
