Anyone having problem with Tapatalk on LG G2?

I went to sleep last night like at 11 p.m and left my phone on my night stand. At 12:55 a.m i grabbed the phone to check the time and it was very hot. I noticed that the battery had gone down like 30% on those hours. When i checked the battery stats it turned out to be Tapatalk the culprit. I left the phone turned off the rest of the night but now i am not sure if i should completely uninstall the app for a few days. Has anyone else experienced any problems with it?

BTW i am running stock Kit Kat from T-Mobile on my G2. My phone is not rooted or anything.

Odd that there look to be issues with both. :(

Rather than uninstall, charge completely, clear cache and data, then monitor for an hour or so. It could just be a one off.

Do you sync notifications and thread responses etc in the background? Might be worth turning that off too?

Ok i am going to do that and see how it goes. It might be just a one time thing. I got scared though when i saw the phone that hot. It reminded me of my days with the buggy LG Esteem running 2.3. God i hated that phone.

I'm using it now with no issue on 4.4.2, although I'm running an older version I grabbed off 4shared a couple years back.
