Well I had my run on CM7 and OMFGB and cant take the battery life, anyone running DarkslideX? I am on my way back to rooted .596 now and thinking about trying it.

It was pretty smooth. Battery life was good and everything works. I went back to CM7 cause I'm a masochist, but I would have stayed on DSX if not for that.

darkslide x is basically the same thing as Apex, the difference is the name and theme, and the way its made, but otherwise it has the same functions as apex and liberty v.9

I never tried DS so I can't really comment on it, but it never really caught my interest too much

The only thing I don't like about it too much is the stock theme, but I'm sure there are themes out there to change that ;)

I've been running it for two days now. I like it, it's smooth, battery life is good. I've run into issues with the 3G icon being visible but it won't turn blue and it doesn't register as a network connection. I have to cycle 3G off then on again with juicedefender (after which it cycles itself on and off about 4 times) but after which it works fine again. I never had that problem on stock GB unrooted, but maybe it's just an GB issue and not a DS issue. I havn't tried any other ROM yet so I can't compare it to them, I'll probably try Apex tonight.

Try not using JuiceDefender for a few days and see if you still have that problem with 3G doing it's disappearing act.

I ran Darkslide GB for a few weeks.

I loved how fast and smoothe it was, battery life was great. The problem is with the slide-down menu, you can barely read anything on it.

The other problem I developed after a while was my sd couldn't be read very much. At first I dismissed it as Flikie wallpapers causing my gallery to me sluggish, then it being a class 2 card. But after enough of everything, I sbf'd back and am currently stock without any problems.

The sd card issue really began to get old, every few hours I had to reboot the phone to get the sd card to read correctly. Stock doesn't give me any grief, so I'll deal with it until the next OTA update and see if anything improves.
