Help Anyone successfully recovered deleted files from a stock 2012 Nexus 7?

I tried to recover some files accidentally deleted by Google Photo app, it seems that no recovery software is able to recover deleted files from Nexus 7's internal memory.

So far I tried Stellar Phoenix Recovery, Wondershare Dr. Phone for Android, all with latest version without success. Stellar Phoenix Recovery doesn't see the N7, the other software detects the N7 but said it's incompatible.

Any idea to share?

Most (if not all) recovery solutions won't work because the N7 mounts as an MTP device as opposed to mass storage/another drive.

Do you back your pics up to your G+ account, have you accessed your Recycle Bin via the web interface? Are they there?

I just checked and there are some pics I know I deleted from my device weeks ago.

My Google Photo's Trash shows no item, so probably I did turn the auto backup off.

After a lot of reading it turned out that there is no way to recover deleted files from the 2012 Nexus 7 due to changes that have been made to the OS.
