App for increasing volume when ringtones go off

Just curious if anyone has used an app to increase the volume of speakers. I'm on a semi and it's hard to hear when I get texts or emails.

I don't think an app can raise volume levels.
Here's Viper,But you have to be rooted and I am not sure if it will raise the volume:
