So I have a number of folders on my home screen (Games, Apps, Finance, Tools etc.) which I touch to open and the apps I have put there all appear. All very neat and tidy.
However, for some inexplicable reason, yesterday I went to open one of the folders and half of the apps had changed their name. For example, "Stick Tennis" was now showing as "air.com.sticksports". The icon is still the same and the game seems to work fine without any data loss. This applies to apps across all my folders, but I can see no correspondence between those that have changed name and those that haven't. If I open the all apps function, all the apps appear with their right name.
I have removed the SD card and reinserted, rebooted and run SDRescan a few times, all without issue.
Any idea why this has happened, what I can do to fix it and what the ramifications are/may be?
