Archiving Co-Pilot

I just downloaded and installed CoPilot Live 8 onto my HTC Desire, but didn't realise how much of a phone memory hog it was. On my previous phone, BlackBerry Bold, there was an option to archive apps onto the SD card so that they could be easily transferred back onto the phone if wanted without having to re-download them. Is this possible on on the Desire or is there an Android app that makes it possible?

Thanks in advance,

Steve.

Astro file manager will back up to memory card , as will the paid version of System Panel.
Ghostify will allow you too also when you uninstall an app

Thanks Garret, job done (twice - with Astro and System Panel), now uninstalling to free up space. Advice much appreciated.

Please can you walk me through the steps to do this .. I can't find a way tomove to SD card in Astro .. Thanks.

It doesn't move it, it backs it up. The app is still on the phone, unless it's uninstalled. Then to use the app again, you'd have to reinstall it from the backup. Also, I don't think it backs up the app's data.

Interestingly as soon as I uninstalled the app CoPilot refunded me the purchase cost. Don't know what would now happen if I tried to restore the back up (it wouldn't work without me paying again I suspect).
