Are the Quad Core phones worth it?

Virgin mobile coming out with lower priced quad core phones. Are they really any good at that price point? Wonder why so cheap? Makes me a little nervous getting one. Any Thoughts?

For the LG Volt - the screen is a little smaller at 4.7 inches and has a lower resolution then flagship phones, it also only has 1GB of RAM instead of 2-3GB, and only 8GB internal storage.

Still a fast phone, just reduced specs.

Its kind of like my Quad-Core PC. My Samsung III has not found an app that really taxes it. Its only got dual core. My PC has never found an app that really taxes the CPU. I never go over 30% on it, which is telling me that I would have to have 4 extremely large downloads *(but wait, they depend on how fast your disks are not the CPU) so it really makes no difference.

Bottom line is "Your dependent on how fast your data speed is" !!!!

And the Volt only has 4gb of usable space. A HUGE downfall in my opinion. I got my S3 on Sunday and I've already used more than 4gb on the internal.

I get the spark coverage all around my area in Daytona Beach Florida on the lg volt. Haven't tested the speeds yet but will when I get the chance
