Can you tell me is the phone branded with the T-Mobile name on the outer casing and is the software T-mobilised as well?

Nothing T-Mobile on the phone itself.

The T-Mobile software customisations are very very light. There are some bookmarks in the browser and there's an app called 'Sim Toolkit' that allows you to top up or visit 'My T-Mobile' and various other stuff you wouldn't want to do.
