Root Bad Zip Folder from CM6...Stuck on Huawei Logo Screen

Was looking to flash to CM6 and give a family member the phone to use with wifi.

I downloaded the updated CM6 Ascend Zip Folder yesterday and it wouldn't open. Now my Ascend is always stuck in the Huawei logo screen unless I go into ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.1.8

The phone won't let me access the SD card file when mounted to a PC. Looking just to flash back to stock now but not sure how to do that now without the SD card file.

Tried Android SDK and AVD Manager but it wouldn't install Android SDK Platform-tool. USB mass storage device was mounted.

Even if it worked I would have no idea how to push a file. :confused:
 
lol then i can't help you. i've given you two options. push the file with ADB and follow my guide (others have and it's worked. your the first to not be able to.....BE PATIENT.) or spend $10 at walmart for a sd card reader. those are really the only options you have at this point :D

Well the bad zip file can be from a few things, corrupted download or a corrupted transfer. When downloading things of this nature, its best to do it on a wired connection, esp if things like this happen. Other than that its normally user error and occasionally due to some issue with the phone/hardware itself. ;)

because your not able to download a file successfully. i can't fix that problem. lol the zip is fine i tell you that much. if it isnt fine when you download it, it's because your internet sucks and has dropped packets while downloading.

im going to quit responding to you entirely now.
 
That would happen to me i would notice the zip would stop downloading and so i would be wired or check the file size before i did anything u messed up dude
