Besides your phone, how many Samsung's in your house?

I have the following Samsung products in my home:

-- Galaxy S3 phone.
-- A Samsung TV.
-- A Samsung keyboard from a Samsung PC I bought in 1990. I still have the keyboard, but the PC is long gone. The keyboard is attached to a 13-year old PC (which is about to be retired now that I no longer need a dedicated print server). I kept the keyboard all these years because I like keyboards that are less spongy. I like when I press the key down and it clicks.

Got a Nexus 10 but I didn't buy it because it's made by Samsung. I've a rocky history with the brand, already replaced my main phone from the S3 to the Nexus 5.

Amen to the Nexus 10.

I have one other Samsung device. Samsung Galaxy Victory.

I'm proud to say I have a HTC One, and even an Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS! Not knocking the Victory, but Samsung have REALLY lost me as any kind of fan.

I have never bought a Samsung phone. I have never bought a Samsung TV. Years ago I bought a Samsung 21.5-inch monitor. It is still in service. I am sure some of the devices I have from other brands have Samsung components in them though.

8 Years ago I had a Samsung phone. It was so crappy and it left really bad after taste, that"s why I'm never buying anything from Samsung again. I'd go for LG any day.

You must had a lemon then as Samsung makes good top the line stuff. I have a lot of Samsung's now and many over the years... and guess what, not a problem with one of them. As for LG, they're lower tier than Samsung ;)

I have nothing at all against Samsung or their products. Just by the luck of the draw, I have never owned one of their products. I don't even know why exactly. I guess their stuff just hasn't caught my attention when shopping.

Maybe because your from the land of OZ? :D
Samsung has passed by iPhone... you haven't heard that?
They have top of the line TV's too.
I've sure had good luck with them.

I'm typing this post on my Samsung Ultra Notebook which is hooked into my 26" Samsung monitor, while checking text on my Samsung SIII phone and while watching a movie with my Samsung DVD player and Samsung 3D HDTV.
Yep, I love my Samsung's. :D

I have a lot of guns, none made by Samsung though... guess they don't do guns, all mine are American made.

Probably is the luck of the draw as well as what might be available in a given market. Although I'm now on my second Samsung phone, the only Samsung product I owned previously was something like twenty years ago, a CRT television. Didn't think it was anything special.

I know Samsung doesn't make firearms. However they do a lot of stuff that isn't consumer electronics, like bulldozers, construction cranes and ships. I'm sure Hyundai makes some military type stuff though.

I wonder how many people outside of Japan and Asia realised that Panasonic makes toilets and bidets?

A bit off topic, but I think it is GREAT to see posts from people all over the world. The internet makes it a truly small world. Now if the politicians and leaders would learn from most of us, there would be no wars... now I could google it, but where in the heck is "Xilinhot" in China?

Ah... I googled it anyways:

We have a 46" (I think) Samsung TV and the soundbar we got to go with it ..

But surprisingly, I think that's it. We may have an old VCR somewhere that I guess could be a Samsung.

Of course, we have a bunch of things with components made by Samsung - all my missus' iStuff, for starters, my laptop (I'm sure) - basically everything in the house that contains electronics from the boiler/furnace to the fridge.

Samsung Heavy Industries has built warships for the Korean Navy, and Samsung Techwin manufactures the K9 "Thunder" self-propelled artillery, K10 ARV (Ammunition Resupply Vehicles), sub-systems for the K2 "Black Panther" main battle tank, and as Samsung Aerospace Industries manufactured the KF-16 fighter jet (a locally-built General Dynamics F-16C/D Block 52).

;)

Wow! I learn something new everyday! :D

A Samsung 500gb hard drive
The Samsung Stratosphere, my first smart phone
The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
The wife's S3

That's about it in the home...

Only my 840 EVO SSD in my Mac. I have a mix of LG, Motorola, Cisco and Apple for everything else (except my self-built desktop computer).

Have to update as I got another Samsung!

Samsung Galaxy S4 Red
Samsung Galaxy S3 Garnet Red
Samsung Captivate
Samsung BlackJack II - Red
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Garnet Red
Samsung Plasma P59D550 3D 60" HDTV
Samsung SycMaster T260HD touch of red 26" HDTV Monitor
Samsung 3D Blu-ray Disc Player With Built-in WiFi (BD-E6500)
Samsung Samsung Ultrabook 13" Series 5
Samsung older 50" in bedroom

You say "besides your phone," but everybody is listing their phone anyways. So I guess I have 2, a Galaxy S3 and a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0". Had a 32" HD flat screen tube TV from Samsung at one point, turd died right after the warenty ended. Next phone will probably not be a Samsung. Not that there's anything wrong with my GS3, but they seem to be adding too much stuff in there, getting bloated. And I don't like the way they are going with trying to make their own hardware infrastructure. "Oh, hey, look at the Gear Fit, it's everything you were looking for in a fitness tracker! But it only works with select Galaxy phones!" Love my Garmin Vivofit, lol! I'm already locked into the Android software infrastructure, but I refuse to get locked into a single manufatures hardware ecosystem, that was a big part of the reason I ditched my iPhone 3GS.

iPhone & Samsung like doing things other phones can't whether it is gear, software, hardware, whatever...

BTW Hrethgir, my Mom lives in Salem. Been there hundreds of times over the years...

...and retail stores?

It's certainly true....I'm reminded of Samsung's and Apple's closeness every day, right in my own neighbourhood.

...and I'm starting to see a lot more of this kind of thing recently, all over the place Who knows Apple and Samsung may eventually merge one day. They both seem to be on the same agenda now, with locking things down, their own ecosystems, etc.

BTW I currently own and use...one Samsung, Galaxy Win, and two Apples, Macbook and iPod. :D

:hmmmm: Including my phones, none, actually. I'm more of a Sony/Asus kind of guy in general.

Though I do plan on getting a 1TB Samsung 840 EVO SSD before too long. :)

No lemons. My relatives have Samsung TV and after 2 years it has some issues with picture, spots and lines on screen. As for phone I used to own, it was a slider phone (8 years ago) and sliding mechanism stopped working with in few months. As for LG I own their TV, Vacuum, Dish washer, refrigerator, washer, microwave, not counting multiple phones. No issues whats so ever. So it's questionable which brand is more superior. Just because it costs more it's not exacly better.
