Best In Ear Headphones

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good set of in-ear headphones that will work with Xperia S. The set that came with my phone are just not good enough, I can be walking along the street with the volume up full and still hear the passing traffic.

But surely, when you're walking down the street, you want to be able to hear the car that's coming along so you don't get hit by it?

Personally, I think having earphones that cut out all external noise is dangerous when using them outside. Surely your life is more important than having your music slightly disturbed by traffic noise?
