Best Launcher for Moto Z Play?

New Moto Z Play owner here from S E Asia.
I am being driven nuts by the OK Google brighty whitey app on my home screen & research shows I need a launcher to rid myself of it & take control of my apps, correct?
Any advice on a free Playstore launcher would be very welcome, along with any other hints from more experienced users.
Phone mostly used for gmail, whatsapp& net searches, don't use it for music or games atm.

Nova launcher is the popular choice... There is a free version and an update for those who want the extra whistles and bells..

The other one i use is the Microsoft launcher... Which ties in nicely with the Microsoft services if you use them
