Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

No, clearly not. I mean, if 48 hours isn't enough to perfect a brand new ROM like nothing else that's ever been loaded on a Droid X, then what is?

May as well give up now.

This is the type of stuff I was getting at in one of the threads where I said that beta really just means broken...and that most people don't really understand what beta truly means

Likes: You can have CRT ON. Wow. Never seen before.

Dislikes: Weather doesn't seem to update. No weather apps work.

I think the weather is a geolocation issue

, That's exactly what it is. And I don't know if there's anything I can do to fix it.

This is the first ROM i have ran that if i plug in my phone when its off, it just turns on. Finally bypassing that stupid charging screen!

This is actually running very well for me! Cant wait for updates!

Yeah, we need a real fix for it, the patch seems to be hit and miss for people, it works for me, but doesn't work for Steven. I'm sure the fix is coming soon.

Yes, apparently, the weather app is dependent on the GPS location working. The patch is working perfectly on mine, I was able to watch myself walk through the shop today and it was updating in real time.
The camera issue is still up in the air, but Camera Illusion works pretty good so far and saves the pix.
*edit* beautiful widgets works if you need weather

one thing I just noticed, my WiFi connection is really weak. I used to get a full strong signal in my bedroom, and now I'm only getting 1 bar, even though my MacBook is getting a strong connection Anyone else with WiFi signal problems?

i know this is a long shot in its current state, but i have to ask: is hdmi working at all? either media gallery hdmi or realhdmi?

The newest version of clockwork recovery for the Droid X (2nd - init) is available in ROM Manager. Be sure to boot into recovery through the ROM Manager to get the new version to take effect.

Yes, and so does Quick Clock Advanced.
Droid Overclock seems to have some reports of draining the battery a bit, although that might be a widget issue, and not directly associated with the program itself. I uninstalled and am using Quick Clock Advanced with great results. Still mediocre battery life, but it's not really different than stock speeds.
