I'm curious as well, but, only if offered via carrier(s), & just in general, the features in relation to value. After the Mate 8 was announced for the global version, but excluded the US, it got me thinking. honor is being marketed as a brand, rather than one of Huawei's flagship device versions. Could it be that the way that Huawei will be breaking into US sales, is to market Huawei phones as "honor" phones, rather than under the bigger Huawei brand? I'm just thinking about it similarly to how Lenovo, when it purchased Motorola, still kept the Motorola branding for the US phones, but still will be creating other phones Internationally under the Lenovo banner?
After all, the contact email on the http://www.hihonor.com/us/ website is a Huawei email address:
honor.us@huawei.com
Now, I'm a little 'bit more curious what will be announced tonight under the "honor" branding.
I wouldn't mind if they offered as project fi compatibility, so the phones could be used on any provider. I just don't know if they will offer a phone that will suit my needs.I'm curious as well, but, only if offered via carrier(s), & just in general, the features in relation to value.
