Bill to account

Anybody having troubles billing to their account with their Inspire? I for the life of me cannot figure out why it won't show up as an option on my device, however it shows up on our demos at work.
 
Friendly bump, anybody else have this option not show up and figure out how to get it to show up?
 
i just got an inspire and have a friend who has it too. neither of ours allows the bill to account feature. have a buddy who has the htc aria and his feature works.

any one have any ideas?

my friend has had her inspire for about a week and never had the option appear, ive had mine for only a day.

would love to know why i cant do this.

so you think they're rolling out the ability? that wouldnt make much sense. i just dont see how the feature varies from phone to phone....

Yeah ATT yesterday told me its either there or not there. Also it would only work on apps that are in usd. What I kept doing yesterday was uninstalling the market updates clearing cache and data and force closing and restarting phone and it eventually worked
 
ill give that a shot, i actually just tried something to see if it was number based. i took my friends simcard who has at&t and a htc aria that has the bill feature, and put it into my phone, when i did, the option still didnt appear, so it looks like it is phone based, maybe software bug?
 
What is everyone talking about? What is bill to account? Is that when you purchase the phone and they bill your bill?
 
just an update people

ive contacted google multiple times via there android marketplace support email and every time they respond its always a very generic unrelated answer.

first time i stated i didnt have the option, and that my friend's phone did.

they responded back with information on a past purchase i made via my CC , completely unrelated.

i then responded again stating they didnt answer and that i knew of at&t customers who had this ability and my phone did not.

there answer was again very general and basically said 'at this time you can order via google checkout' but didnt say why or answer why come google phones had this ability and why some didnt.

anyone else have any luck?

my account is provisioned correctly and have no purchase blockers...
 
so after 6 'automated' responses from google, they have 'forwarded my issue to a specialist'

it really seems like it is only affecting the htc inspire. it must be a software issue with the device. every other android phone ive used with my SIM allows me to purchase apps and bill to my at&t account.

the htc inspire does not.

I had contacted HTC and they just said it wasn't an option that they could do with their phones. Frustrating hehe.
