Bionic or Droid 4?

So my cousin is ready to upgrade from his droid 2. He is caught between the bionic and the D4. I'm an Htc guy myself so I can only go off of specs between the two, so I was looking for a lil help from you guys. What problems do these 2 phones have? Is one truely better than the other? How are the cameras?

Now he isn't super techy so he won't be rooting or running crazy apps. He uses it to surf the web, text, call, play games, and take pics/ video. Just trying to figure out if he should go Free on the bionic or $99 for the D4

I just got the droid 4...my girl has the bionic. I love both...I like that my droid 4 has a keyboard. Don't like typing on screens....downside is that you can't get an otterbox for it...I did purchase a decent case but its not an otter. Now as for the bionic...its also a bad ass phone. No pop out keyboard but you are able to get the otterbox case. I know this may not seem like a big deal bit these are the only two things that I have to say about both phones other than that ....they are boths beastie!

The determining factor here will likely be whether your cousin will want a keyboard or not. They are both great phones to this day. If you wanted to get down to the details, the D4 has the most up to date processor (same as the RAZR) so gaming will likely be *slightly* better on the D4. I'm nor sure what the Bionic's battery life is like, but you can get a spare if necessary. D4 simply has the most up-to-date Moto has to offer (except for the screen which is identical to the Bionic). But if your cousin doesn't care about it, and doesn't need a keyboard, then the Bionic is a solid choice. Either way, both won't disappoint.
