im trying to upgrade or root my zte warp from a 2.3.5 to a 4.0 or equal to that..but i dnt know where to start..please help!!!oh and the carrier is boost

Do you have a N860 (warp)? There is no stable rom other than GB(Android 2.3) for the N860. Sorry :/

Go to this link, and follow the instructions. This is assuming you are on boost network.

Also, no guarantees it won't brick your device if rooted, I'm not responsible for what you do, and I'm just shooting you the link for your own benefit. Rooted warps are 123108975019834134 times better than stock ones.

well it is not so much the rooted part but the custom kernal that is the big plus... and the cutom roms...

Read through the whole thread!!! It is a work in progress still.

Not everything works yet, but it is at 95% Done.

My advice to you right now is this. Read, Read, Read!!!
Read a lot of what is already here at this forum.

We have Custom Roms, Kernels, and a 95% working version of Jelly Bean
This is the easiest phone to Root on the Market today
Down load the oneclick Root, Flash it in Stock Recovery, Your Done
You will be then Rooted with Stock . Time to start Looking at Roms, and or JellyBean.

But Please Read a lot First.

Great advice. Soooo much info here. Plus great people to answer your questions when you still can't figure something. All this has made my Warp a darn good phone.
