Root [Boost Mobile] Overclock on stock rom?

Is it possible to overclock on a stock rom with the Warp:questionmark:

First, welcome to AF. Now for yoir question. Yes you can but you must be rooted and have a custom recovery, such as TWRP. Then you can flash a custom kernel. Which will allow you to overclock. Try the following link.

I ran stock, rooted with an OC kernel for a long time before flashing my first rom.

Enjoy root and at least OC for now. Keep in mind, all the roms we have, lots of goodies to be found in the ATR.

I rooted my warp last year just never flashed a Rom or kernel. Does flashing one of these stop the freezing and rebooting?

yes the kernel will help greatly... the stock boost N860 kernel was terrible...

The kernel will help A LOT, but another rom will help too since the stock rom is full of crapware... I suggest Warp OEM so you can see how the Warp SHOULD have been, its an incredibly fast rom the freezing and rebooting is partly the stock rom problem, partly the crappy kernel.
