Root [Boost Mobile] Speed up boot..

Hey guys! Does anyone know if it's possible to speed up the time it takes for the phone, to completely boot up? Is the boot animation necessary, or can it be removed?

It can be disabled.... I forgot the line but you can add something to the build.prop file... you can also uninstall apps, more apps means more time to have to load them. If you have adb on your computer you can get a log cat while the phone is booting up and see exactly how many packages the phone has to load upon startup.

you can remove the bootanimation.zip and revert to stock android bootanimation binary which will cut down boot time.. by a second or so...

disabling or removing the bootani wont make booting any faster as it only plays during the boot process.

You can set gov to performance with an init.d script

If anyone on droidsmith wants to disable the boot animation the line to do so is in the build.prop. its commented out
