Root [Boost Mobile] The snapdragon supports up to 12MP cameras

on that note...is it possible to upgrade our cameras?

I don't see why not. Can I get some hi-res photos of that too? :D

Hynix makes CMOS cameras, and I'm assuming since ZTE already had their memory in the Warp that they probably used their camera too, but I can't be sure without some photographic evidence to go on.

Ah right! I'll post a couple pictures sooner or later. not as involved as tearing down to the processor. Gotta finish my engineering mathematics hw first. See you in a couple hours.

Well looks like it's gonna take longer than expected, since we just had a town wide underground wire fire...ill do it tomorrow lol

I have info on it at home. Data sheet and pinouts . Found it while trying to fix the camera in cm10. Will share when I get home. Out celebrating getting fired :)

I would like this for the info, but I'm not sure if I should feel bad or happy for you on the fired part?

I was about to say sorry you got fired... but it doesn't sound like you're too worried about it! lol

But dude... that would be a lifesaver! Thank you so much!

Well, if you guys ever want to feel like you are on an acid trip or something, just make sure you don't plug the camera all the way back in when you try to take a picture with a reassembled disassembled warp. Craaaaaazy colors maaaan hahahaha

None so far... from the research I did, there may be cameras which are pin-compatible with ours, but none that are package compatible (at least none which are of a higher resolution) that I can tell. Of course someone with more device experience than I may be able to narrow the list more precisely.
