Root Boot Animations

Hey guys. I started this mainly because I am looking for some boot animations. Post flashables ones or manual install ones. Just post your favorite ones. Dont forget a link to download or where you got it from.
 
Ok then...
I have tons of them, but my favorite is the one I ripped from CM10.

Screenshot:

Rename to bootanimation.zip and stick it in:
/data/local/

Yeah, Ive always liked that one. Im using PA atm so that spinning boot ani kinda annoys me sometimes whenever i reboot my phone.
 
Thinking of changing the name to "Post your boot animations"...


And if anyone could post the stock boot ani, the one with the Moto and ripples. Thanks

I've been meaning to edit out the vm logo crap and just leave the moto logo with ripples part, but haven't gotten around to it.

I'm sure everybody knows what it looks like, but here's a screen shot anyway.

Awhile back, maybe a couple years, I made a Grateful Dead boot animation for a friend. I don't think I ever posted it anywhere, so what the hell. It's really just some frames I ripped from the old Grateful Dead movie, one of the animation sequences.

Yeah i have the ripple moto one with vm crap on it. I tried taking out the vm stuff but the boot animation just didnt show. Not sure how to do it right. Could never figure out how those part files work..
 
Ok so back to the stock boot animation... It has part0 and part1. Part0 has the mobility part(ripple moto), and part1 has the vm part. The desc file has this

480 800 13
p 1 0 part0
p 1 500 part1

Can you not just remove the part1 line and the folder and it just show the part0? I tried it but just a black screen came up when the boot animation should have been... I figured I just screwed something up somewhere but im not sure:confused:
 
If you're on a Windows machine, use notepad++
Also make sure when you zip it back up, choose storage... no compression.

I would just grab the boot animation that didn't have the VM part. If you didn't have it, grab it here
