I have kyocera event rooted won't boot upbut can go into recovery I believe I need a update.zip of a recovery for the. Event can someone send me one I don't care if its root or not

Look at the post by JayTeeDee for the recovery & kernel. I posted a link to my full backup in a post... Need SystemUI. Good luck, and share your results please. This is a new phone, so this is a learning curve for us all.
