Woke up to my wife walking around the bedroom last night, flipping my phone over. Asked her what was going on, she said it keep lighting up and going dark again.

I look at it, it's on the charger, and the screen is turning on and off. I unlock it, and the homescreens are scrolling, the dock feature(disabled btw) is opening and closing.

This morning after being on the charger all night, battery was at 80%. Been at work for 4 hrs, battery now at 93%.

Wtf....

How long have you had the device and when was the last cleaning you had on it yes a factory reset . Wiping all data and cache and also wiping dalvick cache and also cleaning the battery stats . O yes the full works .:confused::screwy::what:
Also watch out cause maloware is in some apps they are reporting . do you have or had Firefox browser on the device.

Full reset was 3 days ago. No Firefox. Did the full wipe, etc.

Have frozen a few apps here and there, nothing controversial though. Google music, Viewdini, Audible, VZ Navigator.

Not sure what is up, but last night's behavior of the phone was like a ghost was operating it.

Was any system apks that may been linked to another apk you are rooted did you dl any apks and are you running a custom build /rom

Stock w/root only. No weird APKs other than Amazon app store with PDF reader.

Why the phone was activating the docking station app was weird, all that's disabled.

The dock was happening last night, wile charging. It did it all through the night even after being disconnected. The phone has started behaving again this afternoon. It's able to charge now as will, but seems slower than normal

I had that behavior once when on vacation and no 3g/4g access and the battery was at 6% and warm. I powered it off, threw it on the charger and it was good the next day. Never had the problem again.

It's called phantom touches.
