Calendar and Facebook syncing

I am new to the Android system and have just started to play with my Evo, and I am loving just about everything about it, save one glaring issue. When I synced by contacts with my facebook account, the birthdays of all 500+ facebook friends were synced to my calendar. I use my calendar a lot to keep up with school deadlines and exam dates, and it is now cluttered beyond use.

I love being able to sync my contacts with facebook, but do not want the birthdays to appear on my calendar, is there any way to remove all of the birthdays from the calendar at once and/or keep facebook from syncing with my calendar?

You can go into the calender and clink which calenders you want to appear. You can still sync with Facebook without utilizing the FB calender.

Calender > Menu > More > Calenders then unclick Facebook. Done.
