I'm bumping this because I'm having the same problem, pretty much.. I flashed IDEOS HD rom to my m835 and got the no UIM error and had no service, so I went back to my stock backup.. Well, my backup went fine but my baseband is changed to 2210 when it should be 22201010. I went on Huawei's website and downloaded the only ROM they have for that phone and it's a MetroPCS rom. My carrier is Cleartalk. I tried that and a few other roms and I have voice calls and SMS but no 3G or MMS. I'm now back on my stock firmware backup but my baseband is still 2210. I had the cleartalk guys mess with it, done hard reset, did *288 to download the PRL, they entered the subsidy code, nothing.. They said there is a guy that probably has the stock Cleartalk firmware but he won't be in for several days, in the meantime I emailed Huawei to see if they have the M835V100R001C177B622 firmware which has the 22201010 baseband, no response yet! So until I figure something out I cannot use my 3g or MMS, so if anyone can help me come up with a solution, I would be grateful! If I'm able to get my hands on the M835V100R001C177B622 ROM from Huawei in the meantime, I will report back here as well as make that available for other people if it will benefit anyone!
