Camera Question

Newbie
Hi - does anyone know off the best camera settings for photos taken indoors in artificial light? My one X takes absolutely fantastic photos in natural light but I just cannot seem to get a decent one when indoors with the lights on. I'm sure it's something simple

(just out of interest, looks like I have the JB update come through. I'll wait 'til I'm home and on wifi obviously, but there are 2 updates - a small one and a 300+mb one. My CID is 011, it's a sim free model and I'm based in Reading, if that helps at all)

I have exactly the same problem tbh. Outdoors, the pics are great, indoors not so much.

I normally have to mess around with an 3rd Party editor to sort the colours/saturation before it looks acceptable.

What are the issues you're having with yours? Are the pics coloured badly, out of focus?

I get the same problem..

2 pictures same thing different time

I am not sure, to be honest; however, there's an application called Camera-FV which basically turns your device's camera into a professional one which you can manually set to suit you best. You can set the shutter speed, ISO, focus, and everything else. If you know a thing or two about photography then I am sure it will help you quite a lot. I don't know anything about photography therefore I am stuck with crappy in-door photos with the stock Camera application.

not so much out of focus (although that doesn't seem to be quite as good either), it's just the colours that don't seem right. I'm not able to do it right now, but from memory they give a yellowish tinge. Whatever it is, it just doesn't ever look quite right!

That looks like the white balance, even In auto it never changes to fluorescent or incandescent, it's basically the bulbs in your house, try changing this in the settings if you haven't already.
