Root can i root using 2.3.7 cyanagen mod7

hi all is there any way that cyanagen mod7 2.3.7 can be rooted ?? androot only goes up to 2.2 right >? is there even a progie out there yet?:

CyanogenMod 7 is a custom ROM... your phone would have to be rooted for you to put it on there in the first place and you should have root access within the ROM
