Can i use a different brand "faster" charger with my Z3?

The one and only thing i miss going from my Samsung GS4 to my Sony Z3 is the speed the charger charged my phone.
I don't claim to be knowledgeable on this kind of stuff other than i know its something to do with the amps the plug pushes out.

So my question is this; can i use the Samsung GS4 charger on my Sony Z3 to charge the phone quicker without harming the battery?
 
Any electronic device will only draw as much power as it is designed to. Adding a higher current charger will not do anything if the device is not designed to pull more current. Most chargers have a current rating that is slightly higher than the device can pull at. If that is the case with the Z3, then a charger that can provide more current will not decrease the charging time. It won't hurt the phone though.
