can i use a usb-3g like on a laptop?

this tablet looks like the one for me but i'm wondering if you will be able to use a usb-3g (or 4g) sim card with it to get on the internet, like u can do on a normal laptop.

android has had usb host for some time so it should work, right?

While Android does have USB host ability, unlike Windows (for example) it does not come with thousands of drivers for all different kinds of devices. And of course the drivers that come with the 3G device will not work on Android.

Almost always, Android devices with 3G have a different system build which includes the necessary drivers for the 3G radio.

In summary: this will not work, you will need to wait for ASUS to release the 3G version. Sorry.
