Root Can this thing still be rooted?

So I just picked up a VM intercept, and am trying to root it.

I tried the one click method, the download has a virus and is immediately deleted by my AV software, so that won't work

I tried the manual method, the third file to be downloaded is also a virus, so it cant be saved so that won't work

Can this thing still be rooted or what?

The file isnt a virus its an exploit for android it won't do anything to your computer
