Help cannot get m860 into recovery mode

I have a m860 that my uncle gave me that was his old phone, I repaired a broken pin where the battery touches the pin it boots fine but my uncle has forgotten his password. I cannot get the recovery menu or it to go into "fastboot mode" I don't know why it wont do it, I've tried the Sound up+call+power and sound up+end+power" and neither does anything different it still boots up to the lock screen. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it, thank you.

Is it rooted and does it have a custom recovery?

No its not rooted, its completely stock.

Don't think it will work, but try pressing on Emergency Call and inputting

^ That may Restore the phone, all data will be cleared.

that number didn't work, I've still been trying the key presses before startup and it still wont go into recovery. I really don't know why it wont work on my aunts phone it works just fine when her phone was causing her problems.
