Help Can't exit Odin mode

Hi, I just got my phone's screen replaced as I broke it several days ago and upon receiving my phone I must've accidentally pressed volume down+power button as opposed to just power button and entered Odin mode where there is just a big arrow with Start in it which points to the right, the Android guy and a sign that says "Downloading ... Do not turn off target!". I tried removing the battery and putting it back again but all the same it starts again in this mode and whatever I press nothing happens, the screen stays the same. I cannot turn it off normally, I have to remove the battery to do that. Otherwise when plugged in, it charges. My computer (Windows 7) doesn't recognize the device when plugged in with the USB cable. The only different screen I can get is the fastboot screen (it appears when I start the phone by pressing vol up+power button after putting the battery back on) but again in this mode nothing happens. Samsung Kies does not recognize the device either. Please help!

Model: GT-I9250 TSRRWC (Montreal, Canada, carrier: Fido, if that info helps)

I'm betting it's nothing you pressed (that would go away during the first reboot), but something the "repair" people added as an "unannounced feature". Ask them nicely to fix it right this time. I'd give them 3 tries total - then ask if they'll need a letter from my solicitor to replace the phone, or they'll just replace it to save themselves the expense (with a new one n a sealed box, of course).

Thanks for the response! I went today and the guy was actually really nice about it; turns out when he was assembling the phone back after the installation of the screen, somehow the volume down button got stuck by a small particle or something, so whatever I did, it would always go to Odin mode. :D He put a new frame and fixed the whole thing (free of charge of course) and apologized for the inconvenience (he did all that in front of me). Then I finally got my phone working again! And now a new problem! :D Right away I got network coverage and received all the text messages from the last few days my phone was offline but after several minutes I lost the coverage and it's been like that the last several hours. I tried the usual stuff, restarting it, taking out the SIM card and putting it back again, called the provider, went through some troubleshooting but couldn't finish it because there was a power outage and the home phone went off. :D What I am suspecting is that during the few days when I thought I had software issues, I was playing with Kies and the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit and might have changed the baseband or something else. Any suggestions?
