This is one of the most common issues among owners of this phone. All previous threads have had 2 solutions:
1. Use a USB port from the Back of the PC. The front ports have less power and as a result, its not enough to make the data transfer and PC recognition of the device.
If that free method does not work, go with:
2. Buy a new Cable. We are provided with cheap cables, and a lot of users fix their connect issue just by buying a new cable.
Otherwise, just use the card reader adapter that came with the phone.
