Help Can't pair via bluetooth to laptop

I have a Sony Viao. The device isn't shown on the list when I put it on Discoverable mode. Any help out there? thanx in advance

Maybe try making the phone discoverable and see if your Sony sees it?

nope doesnt see it, nothing is listed under devices.

I don't know about the not being able to connect feature automatically seeing as I have the same problem, but if you're just trying to send a file from your phone to your laptop try this.

after pairing the phone and the laptop, rightclick the Blue Tooth Devices icon located on your toolbar of your laptop, bottom right corner.
Select "Receive a file"
Once you've done this, go to the file you wish to transfer on your phone to your computer and select via Bluetooth, select the laptop, and it should work fine.
