Help Can't See Downloaded Apps After Market Update

About 4 or 5 days ago I opened up my Android Market app to find it had been updated to a new version. Since then, I haven't been able to view my downloaded apps within Market. The only ones I see are Google Maps and Youtube. I'm sure by now there are updates I can't add.

I've downloaded a couple new apps to see if they get added to the list but they don't. If I search a previously downloaded app it will say it is installed. I've cleared the data under settings/applications and rebooted phone.

Phone is not rooted. Anyone having similar trouble? Any ideas?

Yep, I had this happen once. Try rebooting if you haven't already. If that does not work. Then go to settings-applications-manage applications- click on the all tab then select market. On the left hand side there is a button to clear data. This will basically reset the market app on your phone. Now reboot the phone and try to go into the market. It will ask you to accept the terms. Say ok. Once it loads you should be able to access your apps by pressing the menu key and clicking on "my apps". Good Luck

I've uninstalled updates to the market app and briefly been able to see my apps, but can't stop the market from updating itself and recreating the problem.

Does everybody have the new market version?

I don't have it, thank God. I tried it via manual install from another thread and I really disliked it.

Check the second part of this article. I have no clue if it will help you, but it's worth a shot!

Were you able to find a solution? I have been having the same exact problem and can not find a solution. Even if I uninstall the market update, I can not see the majority of my apps any longer. Uninstalling the market update did fix the problem the first time I did it, but after it auto-updated this fix no longer works.

If you are rooted you can uninstall updates on the market and then using Titanium Backup to freeze the Market updater.

Raising two kids on my own, I can't afford Starbucks either lol.
I hear you, I have 3 and currently doing that on one income. It is a great investment though. (And for the record I've only tried starbucks once and that was because a friend worked there and insisted I try whatever cup of nasty he had)

Since the update I haven't been able to see my apps and tried almost everything but last night I factory reset my phone. Now I can see the apps, so it looks like that's the way to fix it. Hope this helps.
