cellphone for Secretary cam

So how maney old cell/smart phone's do people have just laying around,
because we spent too much for the phone.
Just tossing it out dosen't happen, trading off a cell, yeah right.
How can you de sure it's wipped clean?

So this my question,
With Wi-Fi the thought I have it,
how to network a tablet to a android, or a once dropped galaxy .
With that in mind , wouldn't it be cool if you could use your old phone
for a security camera to keep an eye on what's going on
around the house late at night.
