Is there a way to charge my phone with a broken charging port?

Will this work? Charger any battery with a Universal Battery AC Home/Wall Charger, Travel Chargers

Also, is there any way to buy a new battery cover for my phone?

I got this and that when my charger port took a crap. I just keep one battery always charged and swap them out when they die. If you use your phone a lot, you might wanna buy 2 extras. Never had a problem with the new battery.
