Root Clean off rooted SGS4G?

zuben el genub

Extreme Android User
I asked this before about cleaning off a rooted SGS4G. I just got into fastboot mode, and there is a reset choice there.

The phone is rooted, and carrier unlocked, but it has a stock ROM and I'm not sure about the bootloader. This was rooted using something similar to the old one click root. It's running GB. The TMO splash screen is still there, but no other TMO stuff except that damn jingle.

If I choose reset, what will it reset to? I have no clue where a backup is, I think TB is on it, but it's an old version. I never had anything personal like banking on it - just email.

I want to sell the thing rooted so someone can play with it. Have box and all fixings -

Thanks

Hi Zuben. I moved your thread to the All Things Root forum. I don't have this phone but I think a factory reset should restore the stock apps.

I would look through the rooting section here about doing a factory reset on a rooted phone. I know on some rooted phones it can cause a problem but not usually if you do it from recovery.
