Root clockworkmod/recovery NOT BOOTING-Can't install custom roms

Lurker
I can't access clockworkmod or recovery long story-
Im a newbie pls help

Phone: LG Optimus 2x p990
Current Rom: Cyanogenmod 7

I have rooted my phone just days ago and I installed the cyanogenmod 7custom rom, (without gapps file first then I did it again with the gapps file) After that I didn't like the rom so I decided to install another rom using cwm(cm10.1 custom rom) that I downloaded from here:

techcrot.com/how-to-update-lg-optimus-2x-p990-to-unofficial-cm10-1-rom-based-on-android-4-2-1-jelly-bean-aos/

(I didn't download the gapps file because I though the first gapps file will be fine)

I also downloaded this Kernel by pengus77 that I installed with the cyanogenmod7

So I put the new custom rom I got into my phone's internal sdcard hoping it will go well as usual but then I can't load recovery mode or cwm(I'm not sure which one but either one's not working)
even through rom manager I can't get to recovery mode.(or with the buttons combinations)

I'm guessing it's the kernel when I installed it because that was one of the last files I installed on my phone when cwm was still working.

Is there another way to flash roms alternatively maybe on computer? or anther way to access recovery mode or cwm ?

I can still boot up my phone but it skips the cwm when I'm holding the buttons to go to cwm and goes straight to the cyanogenmod.
Also on my current rom, wifi isn't working.
:(

Pls help..
I appreciate for anyone's help.
