Root CM11/T-Mobile

Hey guys, I have the nightly CM11 running very smoothly. Here are the mods I had to do:
(You need root/superuser to do this).

Fix headphone mic fading out problems:

Edit build.prop and change “persist.audio.handset.mic=digital” to “persist.audio.handset.mic=analog”

Fix constant switching between 3G/H/H+ and no data

Next you may need to do this change to fix the constant switching between 3G/H+ and loss of data:
Edit build.prop value: (default was 1)
ro.ril.fast.dormancy.rule=0

Add this entry:
pm.sleep_mode=1

Fix Visual Voicemail distorting/screwing up audio:

Link to visual voicemail that works.

Finally I recommend Greenify/Battery Doctor etc... to prolong the battery life.

And... for more battery life, you can install an HTC One X+ battery (2040 mAH) in the HTC One S. Yes, it works.

Not sure. The headphone fix probably works. The Visual Voicemail as well. Things are running really smoothly with CM11 at the moment.

Hey guys,

I setup Maximus on my phone and it changed my HBoot to 2.16 is there a way to change back to 2.15 I would like to go to CM 11 and it seems the most active is for HBoot 2.15
