Help color scheme issue

[Android Question]

my phone updated to lollipop today and now my colors are very bright and distracting. is there anyway to change the colors when i use the device. backgrounds are fine as i can put my own pics there but to use an app (ie: texting) it is now bright orange and white as well as other apps are bright green etc. any help is appreciated thanks.

To change the sms app you can check out one of the many on Play Store.
