Since Samsung has made the galaxy admire impervious to any root methods, I encourage everyone to complain to Samsung. As someone else mentioned in another thread ... on like the fourth page of Let's Get Root, if there are enough intelligent complaints then they may create an update that allows some sort of vulnerability or perhaps release the Kernel data. One voice does not carry through a crowd on its own.
I suggest saying something along the lines of:
"Several people I know, plus myself, are very disappointed in the new Galaxy Admire. We cannot root it, so we are stuck with all the apps that each company likes to put on the phones. No one likes those apps. We want the capability of removing them! We cannot customize ringtones, alarms, etc. either. I am switching to LG if you keep making phones that cannot be rooted! If we cannot root then how are independent developers supposed to help Samsung know what consumers actually want in a phone?"
***Don't mention anything about tethers or any other apps/services that normally cost money from the phone companies! Manufactures have invested interest in the success (profit/loss) of the service providers that buy their products!
Just thought I would post this since I rather like this phone... but I have to have a rooted phone so I am trading the Galaxy Admire in for a Motion tomorrow. I will switch back if a root is found.
Thank you, in advance, to anyone that complains (intelligently) to Samsung.
We have the right to customize our property and Samsung has the right to know what consumers think about their products before they lose customers completely.
