Help Contact not found message

Got an s5 mini.

Adding a contact shortcut to the home screen.

It works for few hours but then, when I press the shortcut I get a message "contact not found". I've tried several times.....

Any ideas?

One thing you could try is, in Contacts >Menu (3 dots) > Manage similar contacts... is to merge similar contacts in case that is confusing the shortcut. You could also, in Menu, select Settings > Contacts > Contacts to display... and ensure that you are not using multiple contacts from, say, Google, device, SIM card,etc; that could confuse things.
