Last night while using the browser on my phone via wifi, got the usual dropped connection after a few minutes.
Usually picks up the wifi signal again and away it goes, but last nite it got stuck turning the wifi off. The wifi icon in the power tab was grey indicating it was off, but in the system menu it was stuck saying "turning wifi off"
Gave up trying to reconnect and went to sleep. About an hour later the phone was beeping for low battery, so quickly found the charger lead and put on charge.
Then, about 4 hours after that, it woke me again, beeping to say battery was full and there was 5 unread messages. Went to pick it up and it was mightly hot. I talking extremly hot, not just around the battery, but the entire mobile.
I quickly unplugged the charger and switched the mobile off, left it to cool down by itself. About 1 hour/ 90mins later, picked it up again and it was still rather warm.
Turned it on when I got up from bed, and everything was working normally, apart from the unread 5 messages, which where old messages that i read the day before.
Im guessing that it got stuck in a loop trying to turn wifi off, so was using 100% cpu, which caused the battery to drain so fast, then when it was charging it was still using alot of the battery power.
anyone else have this happen?
